POP CRADLE!

the moment i heard that word, i felt scared immediately. pop cradle - lifting the person above your head, then tossing her into the air, and catching her.

when some friends from magnum force demostrated, everyone went silent and started to look around in disbelief. i started to wonder what would happen if its not done properly. well, my question got answered immediately.

the flyer came crashing down to one of the bases as she wasn't tossed properly.

i guess they decided that its too hard for us to do pop cradle today, but we would be attempting it tomorrow. so, we continued doing elevator and sweep, which we were pretty confident of.

but still, there were accidents and nearfalls which might have resulted in serious injuries.

a flyer from my group fell back-head first, but thank God, she didn't feel dizzy nor did she vomitted.

carrying today was very tiring. our backspot wasn't present and 2 new guys, felix and the other whom i can't remember, replaced him. at first, they didn't support the flyer properly, thus causing the entire weight to fall on the bases' palms. it's quite painful when we have to reach out the other hand and the angle of our palm holding the legs were more then 90 degrees. -ouch-

but, when the backspots started to build their confidence, everything was back to normal and flyers had faith in us, once again.

haha! we tossed samantha twice for practise, but during the first time, she fell on me=/ thank God i managed to grab her in time, and got her to safety. the second attempt went on smoothly, and we did a sweep to bring her back to the land=P

stunts are seriously fun! i'm really loving it~ its challenging, demanding, requires teamwork and most of all, concentration.

i almost dropped the flyer when me and my fellow base burst out laughing as the pressure on our hands was very heavy. i guess our faces turned seriously red, almost blue, and the instructor was still teaching our backspot what to do. we had to recompose ourselves and landed the flyer safely, but by then, our wrists were hurting.

wow, i just noticed that a girl from magnum force looks like Jasmine Trias from american idol! perhaps the skinner version, but when she smiled and looked in our direction, the likeness caught my attention. she's a great flyer too~ woAhhhHhhh...

more trainings tomorrow! from 12 to 4, 9 to 11? can't really remember the timings, but tomorrow's training is The Point of No Return! >.< trying to get someone to replace me regarding the scouts stuffs, but so far, no avail. hope that charmaine won't mind helping me collect some stuffs from my boys~ hEe~

oh. extreme sports! this friday is my prelims at sentosa, and we were given a briefing of what to expect. well, i'll be doing the running leg of the team, and i'm supposed to run to the towers, do 30 situps, then run up to 1 of the towers and do 30 pumpings.

run to another tower, and i'll be tested on bible verse. we are given 7 verses to remember, and they are seriously encouraging when used in sports. lolx=P

then, its a long run to the run about near shangi-la hotel and back to the beach near the towers.

total distance, MORE then 3.7km. well, at least i'm not swimming. its tougher=X

there's this bible verse that i would like to share with you guys.

1 Corinthians 9:24 - "Do you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it."

COOL HUH!? i shall RUN LIKE A CRAZY GUY!
