commonly used words when i'm giving morning PT to my boys. its been ECOS since i last gave morning PT to scouts, and i'm glad that i was given the chance to "torture" the boys once more=)

the morning PT wasn't tiring as we did mainly warming up and stretching. but, i made them do 3 pumpings and they had to hold their body at the "down" position for 5 seconds, when every single scout is at that position. well, of cause not every1 cooperated, and the 1st pumping was dragged to almost a minute. but, after the 2nd pumping, the sec1s endured after shouts of encouragement from their seniors.

before you think that i'm really torturing them, i did all the warm ups and pumpings with them.

next event! GAMES! hAaz! xianghao and i had a great time playing games with the sec1 cadets!

we had this super long and thick rope that's used for flying fox. we separted the sec1s into 4 different groups and made them stand inside the circle, formed by the rope. both ends of the rope were secured and we played 4-way tug of war!

i was helping a group that had a person short and we "fought" together. that game lasted for around 30 minutes, without a clear winner. there were MANY injuries, but the boys stood up gamely and continued tugging at the ropes.

there was a stampede whenever 2 teams started tugging in the same direction. thank God i wasn't involved in the pile up in the group i was helping, but i helped to dis-entangle the boys~ hahaz!

at first, i thought that the boys would start crying, and refuse to play. but, even when they were bleeding, they continued pulling regardless of the pain. i treated a scout who had a "friction" burn that caused his skin to be "burnt" off, leaving the flesh. seriously painful, and it was on his face.

the next game was even funnier. the boys, in their groups, lay on the floor and the fastest group to roll to the finishing line would win. but, the challenge is that only 1 person can roll at 1 time, so the last scout must roll to the 1st in line, and so on. it's really funny watching the boys roll over their friends and some even shouted in pain. lolx=P

a tad sacistic? but fun! the boys' liked the games=)

then, i gave them a lecture on Creative Pioneering. prepared a powerpoint slide and i used my sister's notebook to present~ well, the boys were attentive. i thought that their minds would wander and get distracted by the NPCC cadets running all over the corridor, but they were listening attentively, answering questions that i threw to them.

then, they were given mahjong paper to draw their pioneering projects.

the first group planned to build a castle, with walls and watch towers surrounding the castle. then, they added a drawbridge, at the gate of the castle. even their towers are quite amazing - a emergency slide when the enemies come and they even added a telescope, to keep watch.

the second group came up with a treehouse and a flying fox that's connected to another tree house.

the third group came up with a tower thats of multi purpose.'

lastly, the forth group came up with a playground and a slide that ends up in water.

personally, i felt that the castle is a good idea to work on, for recuitments and competitions.

when i was going around trying to push the boys to think harder, i suddenly thought of building the Changi Airport. well, not the entire place, but the tower. xianghao and i then drew the plans on the whiteboard, and we realised that it's quite possible to build the tower~ hAhAaz! perhaps we would do it on our own training times, just for the fun of it=P

scouts meeting ended and i headed home to bath first. i was super smelly.

fell asleep on the floor until 2.30 and bathed for cellgroup at charmaine's place.

cellgroup's super small today. 6 persons only, but nontheless, it proceeded. i had my exam after cellgroup ended, and they were playing cards!! >.< heart attack and bluff. bah~

reached home, and i was supposed to go to my relative's place, but i fell asleep and i deicded not to go afterall. hahaz=P

had a weird dream during my 3 hours of sleep. i dreamt of charmaine! LOL! dreamt that we were at the playground near her place, and we were chatting with each other. i think that we were couples in the dream, and when we were at the playground, she was quite sad. so i talked to her, and cheered her up. hahaz! then, i became veryvery nice to her, even to the extend of meeting her in GreenRidge Sec, and sent her home.

well, she was quite sweet in the dream too. suddenly, the dream scene changed to my place, and i was down with high fever. so, charmaine came to my place and took care of me. lolx!

the moment i woke up, i felt that the dream was quite funny and i messaged charmaine and told her about it. hahaz=P she kept saying that it's a very weird dream.

i guess it would never happen in real life huh? =P

its been quite a encouraging day, especially in scouts.
