just came back from choa chu kang~! had dinner with natalie, cailing and lixia - sakae sushi.

watched last samurai with natalie afterwards. the show is simply awesome. i could feel every single pain, defeat, victory and even the slash of the blades. the show is extremely meaningful too, gave me loads of thoughts to dwell on afterwards.

the will and courage of the samurais is something that we should learn from. even when they were outnumbered, fighting against canons and guns, they fought with all their heart. for them, to die on the battlefield is a honourable thing. even though one of the leading actors were shot by the guns, he carried until fighting until he couldn't anymore. almost every single samurai were like that, fighting till the very end, never giving up.

maybe some of you may disagree with me as it is just a show, but the storyline is flawless and the way they talked about the samurais - perfect~ it seemed that it was based on a true story, but it's not. the values of the samurai are real, should get it printed out=P

after watching the show, i feel like becoming a samurai. anyone who is willing to sponser me to japan to train as a samurai? hahaz=P check out their offical site The Last Samurai
