the first time in weeks i woke up so early~ loLx=P

at 11am, i switched channels to channel 8. the show caught my attention. a cute japanese girl. well, thinking that it would be another cutsie japanese show, i was totally wrong! the cutsie japanese girl is suffering from some sickness and she's almost dying. then, a male nurse comes over and encourages her, even though the odds of her surviving is very little.

woah~ that caught my attention. my impression of japanese drama has been quite sterotype - cute japanese girls with sunshine smiles and beautiful round eyes running all over the place smiling like theres no tomorrow~ and a dashing long haired japanese guy who's SO perfect, its unbelievable.

the show is about this male nurse who works in a hospital filled with female nurses. he became a nurse because his younger sister, who passed away, wanted to be a nurse.

well, today's episode was about this guy who aspires to be a comedian, but he got warded into the hospital because of pains.

( basically, im not a bio student, so i have no idea what they were talking about... )

so, the guy who aspired to be a comedian tried to run away from the hospital, but the nurses tried all means to hold him back because his condition was very serious. as for he, he wanted to escape because he wanted to participate in the annual comedian competition.

on the day of the competition, he managed to escape and participated in the competition. but, when he was performing halfway, he collapsed in pain and was unable to continue. so, the nurses and doctors managed to track him down and brought him back to the hospital for the operation.

after being operated, the male nurse had a nice talk with him. when the comedian wannabe asked him a question - why do you want to be a nurse? the guy didn't answer like he's some angel sent from heaven. he simply said its because of his sister.

just when he said that, another patient cried out, saying that he broke his urinal bag. he wet himself and the bed. so, the male nurse, without considering, went over and cleared up the mess. that made the comedian wannabe feel very bad.

the nurses and doctors were always supporting him, trying to keep him out of trouble because he was in a critical situation. but, he didn't realise their love for him. upon seeing the male nurse still serving the other patients even though he just had a operation earlier, the comedian wannabe felt very touched.

that sort of told me something.

we can show all kinds of love, care and concern to someone. but if he/she is unwilling to accept it, or if he/she doesn't care, there's nothing much we can do, except to continue showing care and concern.

though its just a show, we can learn from them. the characters seem way too cute, perfect or pretty, but the main characters usually have a heart of gold.

if everyone were to show a little more care and concern for your friends, would there be arguements, misunderstandings or even break ups.

is your pride that important? is your ego the biggest in the world? so what if you possess the largest ego in the world, would you be happy without friends? is it that hard to swallow your pride and apologise to your friend, because you misunderstood her.

its not like you have to kneel down infront of the entire class and apologize. a simple message, or even a phone call does miracles.

do not think that its never your fault. it takes 2 hands to clap and when things doesn't go smoothly, don't start blaming your friends and become a smart alec.

worst of all, do not walk out of someone's life suddenly. especially when he/she treats you as a close friend. it hurts.
