its quite amazing that i actually hated Lord of The Rings in the past. i guess its the super boring story book that drove me nuts.

i just finished watching the 3rd episode, Lord of The Rings - The Return of The King, and its simply awesome. well, of cause not forgetting the 1st and 2nd episode, which i caught few weeks back~ lolx=P

even though there were like many complications and stuffs, i was able to understand the majority of the story cause i completed the PC-Game on my notebook. but, the PC-Game's orcs seem to be harder to destory! lolx~~ but, good prevails and bad falls!! woohoo!

a word flashed in my mind when i was watching LOTR - unity.

this maybe just a story, but look at how the characters flowed in their thinking. all of them had the same goal, vision and target. they worked hard to help frodo and to protect mankind. it reminded me of parade of schools.

from nothing, we achieved something.

from a absolute defeat, the characters fought bravely against all odds and got victory in the end, when frodo knocked the gollum down to the wdeva-volcano.

timing?

that word just came into my mind. yeah, timing's important in everything we do. we can't expect to marry a person after knowing him/her for a day.

we may have to wait, and wait even longer. but when we're waiting, should our morale die off? should our little ray of hope be shut off?

like the armies in LOTR, whenever they had to wait, they were still extremely prepared and ready for action. once the time comes, they charge. no need for anthony robbins to come and motivate them.

so, what did they do when they're waiting?

i believe the word is anticipate.

they held their positions, weapons in position and eyes fixed at the horizon. this gives me an image of a solder, who's ready, confident and well prepared for the battle.

in Christ, we're His army! we should be like the armies in LOTR, prepared, confident and charged up. if we're sloppy, dis-united and low "moraled" the devil just needs to stroll into the kingdom and all hell breaks lose.

same goes for CELLGROUPS!

are you part of your cellgroup, or are you just a space-taker in your cellgroup. think.

1 man cannot do everything. aragorn worked together with legolas, gimli, gandalf, faramir... practically everyone. frodo depended on sam for support and encouragement.

what would happen if 1 of the heros said, "okie, thats enough. i'm tired of killing orcs. lets sit back and watch others do it." 1 person's action can bring the entire kingdom to fall.

WE'RE larger then life.

everyone plays an important part in everyone's life! what is your role in life? a sucker of life or a giver of life?

i pray that your not a sucker of life, but a GIVER.

i certainly hope that i'll grow to be part of my cellgroup. a place where i belong, where lives are changed and most of all, a group that works together with unity and strength.

but, victories start from 1 simple word - support.

do you want to be in the army of Christ? going from victories to more victories, stronger in unity and support from every single person.

its time to rise up, wake up, and start working for God.

no more comfort zones.

okie. that's my 5 minutes worth of sermon. no particular cellgroup member is targetted. so, if you feel offended, gimmi a message, and i'll explain.

oh, questions? raise your hand first.

lolx~ drop me a message in that stupid tagboard that's always down, or MSN, ICQ, E-Mail. there's so many methods to look for me=) praise God!

thank God for such a wonderful sermon that i didn't prepare~ hahaz~
